3. Security Grade Selection Guide

Choose the right fence specification based on your security requirements:

  • Grade 1 β€” Visual Deterrent: 2.0mm chain link, 1.2m height β€” suitable for marking boundaries, parks, and residential perimeters. Lowest cost, minimal security.
  • Grade 2 β€” Basic Perimeter: 3.0mm welded panel, 1.5m height, 50Γ—200mm openings β€” suitable for warehouses, parking lots, commercial properties. Resists casual climbing.
  • Grade 3 β€” Industrial Security: 4.0mm welded panel, 2.0m height, 50Γ—100mm openings + triple-point barbed wire top β€” suitable for factories, logistics centers, utility substations. Climb-resistant, tool-resistant.
  • Grade 4 β€” High Security: 5.0mm double-wire 358 mesh, 2.4m height + anti-climb topping β€” suitable for data centers, military, prisons. Anti-cut (15+ minutes with bolt cutters), anti-climb, anti-pry.
  • Grade 5 β€” Maximum Security: 6.0mm 358 mesh, 3.0m+ height + razor coil + buried anti-dig skirt + vibration sensors β€” suitable for critical national infrastructure, embassies. Integrated electronic detection.

4. Coating & Finish Options

5. Posts, Gates & Accessories

Complete your fence system with matching accessories β€” all manufactured to the same coating specification as your mesh:

  • Posts: Square tube (60Γ—60, 80Γ—80, 100Γ—100mm), round tube (Ø48, Ø60, Ø76mm), peach-shaped β€” all with base plates, caps, and anchor bolts
  • Gates: Single swing (1.0–2.0m wide), double swing (3.0–6.0m), sliding cantilever (4.0–12.0m) β€” manual or electric operation
  • Barbed Wire: Single strand, double strand, concertina coil β€” galvanized or stainless steel, 2.5mm wire, 4-point barbs at 100mm spacing
  • Razor Wire: Concertina coil, flat-wrap, or welded razor tape β€” 0.5mm stainless steel blade, galvanized core wire, 450–900mm coil diameter
  • Clamps & Fasteners: Panel-to-post clamps, tension bars, tie wires, post caps β€” all galvanized to match fence life
  • Anti-Climb Topping: Rotating spikes, triple-point barbed wire arms, or razor coil brackets β€” bolt-on to existing posts

6. Installation Best Practices

  1. Site Survey: Mark post positions at 2.0–2.5m intervals. Identify underground utilities before digging.
  2. Foundation: Concrete footings 300Γ—300Γ—600mm minimum for 2.0m posts. Increase to 400Γ—400Γ—800mm for 3.0m+ posts or high-wind zones.
  3. Post Installation: Set posts in concrete, plumb to within 3mm per meter. Allow 48-hour concrete cure before panel attachment.
  4. Panel Attachment: Bolt panels to posts using manufacturer-specified clamps. Torque to 25–30 Nm. Check alignment every 10 panels.
  5. Gates: Install gate posts with extra-deep footings (800mm minimum). Hang gates, adjust hinges for smooth swing, install drop bolt and padlock.
  6. Final Inspection: Check all fasteners, test gate operation, verify post plumb. Touch up any coating damage with zinc-rich paint.

7. Export Packaging & Logistics

  • Panel Packaging: Stacked flat on pallets, 50–100 panels per pallet, wrapped with UV-stabilized stretch film and steel strapping
  • Chain Link Rolls: Tightly rolled, wrapped in hessian or plastic, 10–25 rolls per pallet
  • Posts: Bundled in steel straps, 25–50 posts per bundle, with protective end caps
  • Container Loading: 20ft container holds ~800–1,000 panels; 40ft HC holds ~1,600–2,000 panels. Mixed loads (panels + posts + gates) available
  • Documentation: Packing list, commercial invoice, bill of lading, certificate of origin (Form E for ASEAN, Form A for EU GSP), MTC
